My name is Angelou (pronounced Angelo), named after the famous poet Maya Angelou. As a proud husband and father of two boys, I am a professional photographer and videographer with six years of experience servicing Las Vegas & SoCal. I am also open to destination weddings and events anywhere you need. I specialize in wedding and elopement filmmaking, portrait, wedding, headshot, boudoir, editorial photography, corporate photography and videography, business and brand videos, music videos, social media management, and marketing & advertising. I shoot all events with the goal of making each shoot as creatively unique as possible, using unique elements such as music choice and vintage lenses to add character to each project.
My wife coined the phrase "The Lou Effect" to describe my creative style. Before each shoot, she encourages me to "show them the Lou Effect," which has become the name of my business. I strive to always leave my clients with smiles on their faces and satisfaction in their hearts so that they can have lasting memories of their special day. Creating valuable experiences and providing quality content is my passion, and I am dedicated to ensuring that each client is satisfied with my services.

Lou exceeded our expectations! Despite unforeseen traffic causing a delay, he compensated by producing numerous fantastic photos. We are incredibly grateful that he accompanied us to two different locations for the shoot and stayed extended hours to help us coordinate with the venue for optimal shots.
