With over 30 years of experience teaching piano and a DMA in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, I am well-equipped to cater to each student's unique needs by setting goals based on their level, practice time, and interests. I encourage my students to participate in public performances or auditions at least twice a year, as recognition empowers them to further develop their skills. When I see a student's potential, I'm thrilled to teach them more and share my own performance experiences.
For 2022, my hourly rate is between $75-$100, with a rate of $75 per hour. I offer discounts for contract periods, including per lesson, monthly, semester, and yearly options. Payment rates range from $75 to $50 depending on the number of lessons and the method of payment. Further details can be discussed during our initial meeting. I assure my students that success is achievable by following my instructions and practicing for a minimum of 15 minutes daily.
Currently, I am following the COVID-19 guidelines of the Madison School District and offer online classes. Surprisingly, online remote teaching has been very successful, and I can teach anyone worldwide in either English or Russian, provided the time zone permits. For a period of two years, I observed Vlada instructing piano to my child, Matvey. It's undeniable that her remarkable commitment towards inspiring and motivating students to attain their finest is truly impressive. As a teacher, she is both congenial and diligent, a combination that anyone would be fortunate to experience. Despite having tried out other piano instructors in Madison, Vlada proved to be the best by far. It's thanks to her that my son has now grown to love classical music. I cannot recommend her enough.
