DJ Jazzy J performed exceptionally well, playing every requested song promptly. Furthermore, Jazzy J skillfully announced the members of the wedding party by name, and the photo booth was a wonderful addition to the festivities.

For my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party, I engaged DJ Jazzy to provide music. She arrived on time, but her style of play didn't match the celebratory occasion. I didn't have a specific playlist but gave her an idea of the music that would be ideal. Regardless, DJ Jazzy played whatever she pleased and wasn't open to suggestions or ideas on music selection. I paid her a total of 320 dollars, after a 100 dollars deposit, but she kept demanding the balance hourly via PayPal. I was extremely let down by the entire experience and would not recommend this DJ for any event. Updated on January 23, 2019: I'm unsure why there is communication after eight months, but my review stands. You accepted the job knowing it was last minute when I approached you days before the party. We agreed on a 100-dollar deposit and the balance to be paid before the party ended. However, you repeatedly asked me for the remaining amount every 15 minutes. I paid you as agreed, but ultimately, your primary responsibility was to play music that would celebrate my daughter's milestone birthday, which you failed to do. I told you numerous times to switch up the music, but you disregarded my requests and played music we explicitly requested you not to.

Although I normally try to be understanding when things don't go as planned, I must express my profound disappointment with DJ Jazzy J. My partner and I hired her services back in March for our wedding, which was scheduled for September. However, we found her to be unresponsive and difficult to communicate with. Despite our efforts, she kept delaying discussions about the wedding plans until the last minute, and when we finally met with her, she was unprepared, having rescheduled the meeting and arrived late. However, the worst part was yet to come. With just 10 days left until our wedding, DJ Jazzy J suddenly texted us saying that she had a bad feeling about our meeting and was going to cancel our contract. Although she refunded us, this unprofessional behavior left us in a bind, scrambling to find another DJ at the last minute. In an industry where good service is paramount, DJ Jazzy J failed to deliver. I caution others to be wary of her services.

Julia exceeded our expectations at our wedding by flawlessly executing the specific playlist I had in mind for different times during the event. She did a great job!
