The main goal of DJ Bloc is to get people dancing and create unforgettable memories for guests to enjoy. Instead of relying on a set program, he flawlessly mixes a wide variety of music genres including classic hits from past decades, Caribbean reggae, Afro beats, and popular contemporary tunes. With over 20 years of experience, DJ Bloc is a skilled musical mixologist who blends different styles seamlessly, including pop, house, hip hop, and oldies. He keeps the crowd engaged with his Caribbean heritage and smooth vocal talents as he hosts events throughout various cities including New York City, Northern & Central New Jersey, Philadelphia, Miami, Los Angeles, and the Carolina’s.
Aside from his DJing abilities, he is also certified in recording and mix engineering, which has led him to work for high-profile clients such as The United Nations and provide audio for celebrity concerts. In addition, he has served numerous corporate clients such as The Home Depot and Krispy Kreme.
DJ Bloc has also been on-air for several stations such as 93.7 The Block in Charlotte, NC, Sirius XM THE JOINT Radio, and 91.3FM WKRB Kingsborough Community College. With his audio engineering experience, he can provide top-quality audio systems for any type of event.

I found Duane to be an excellent and highly professional service provider, fulfilling all of my requests with ease. Despite the subpar wifi at the venue, he managed to make it work without issue. I would certainly consider hiring him again in the future.

The whole crowd was kept dancing by DJ Bloc for the entirety of the event! Pleasing every person from different generations was no simple task, but he managed to make everyone happy. There wasn't a single individual who didn't have an amazing time! I'm eagerly counting down the days until we can book him for our next gathering.
