About
Greetings!Since the age of 18, I have honed my craft in bars and restaurants, beginning as a barback and eventually climbing the ranks to become a head bartender. My passion lies in creating unique cocktails and developing beverage menus. As a professional in the hospitality industry, I possess qualities that are essential for serving guests.
For over a decade, I have been a part of the NYC bar scene and currently reside in Manhattan. I provide a range of services that include cocktail recipe formulation and hand-cut crystal clear ice, and I am also able to simply serve drinks if that is what you require. In 2016, I established Bended Elbow Beverage Inc, a company that offers sales and marketing consultation services to spirit and beer brands, as well as cocktail program consultation services for bars and restaurants.
I have extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and beer, and I am proficient in wine. I graduated from James Madison University and am fully vaccinated, with the ability to provide proof upon request. Additionally, I possess an NYC Department of Health Food Handlers permit.
Pricing for my services begins at $50-60 per hour for event work. Factors such as the duration of the event, location, the inclusion of tip jars, and the services I am providing will influence the final price. Matt's skills as a bartender were absolutely exceptional! His inventive cocktail list was a hit with all of my guests. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but he was also able to make everyone feel at ease with his friendly demeanor. His interactions with the guests were effortless, and he left everyone with a smile on their face. My holiday party was made amazing by Matt who was an incredible bartender! He created festive Christmas-themed cocktails that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for the package that included his fancy clear ice blocks that you usually get in a fancy cocktail bar, and my guests were amazed by it! Matt was punctual, charming, and polite. I would definitely want him to bartend at any future occasions I may have!
