Our top priority at Healthier Homelife is the safety of our clients and staff. To ensure this, we are closely monitoring the CDC website for their latest recommendations and updates, especially as we have seen an increase in requests for cleaning and disinfection services since the outbreak. We have put together a comprehensive safety, prevention, and disinfection plan, which includes the following measures:

Client & Staff Safety:

As the owner of Healthier Homelife, I am taking extra precautions to ensure that all of our staff are following the necessary safety protocols:
1. Maintaining a social distance of at least 6 feet at all times.
2. Washing hands for at least 20 seconds every hour or using a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
3. Wearing a mask at all times covering both mouth and nose.
4. Disinfecting all equipment and supplies before and after use.
5. Keeping the house well-ventilated while cleaning, organizing, cooking, etc.
6. Requiring all employees to stay home if they are feeling sick and asking our clients to inform us if anyone in their household is feeling sick.

Cleaning Versus Disinfection:

It is important to note that cleaning and disinfection are two different processes. To effectively disinfect a surface, it needs to be thoroughly cleaned first. Our cleaners are instructed to clean and disinfect high-traffic areas, such as doorknobs, handles, light switches, countertops, faucets, sinks, toilets, desks, and keyboards.

Appropriate Disinfectant:

Not all disinfectants are effective against COVID-19. At Healthier Homelife, we use a diluted bleach solution, 70% alcohol, or an EPA-registered household disinfectant, which are all recommended by the CDC to be effective against the virus.

Important Statement from the CDC:

The CDC recommends cleaning visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection as a best practice measure for the prevention of COVID-19. We follow this practice at Healthier Homelife.

Wow! I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional assistance and expert care that was provided to me in the most non-judgmental, professional manner. Kathrine took the entire responsibility of arranging my paperwork, clothes, closets, and differentiating between what needed to be kept and what was to be sold.
