During a storm, a maple tree that was eight years old got uprooted. The Big Guys were called in to cut it up, take the wood and leaves away, and clean up the mess. The entire process, from the initial quote to the final removal of debris, was carried out smoothly and with great courtesy.

Nicholas was the only contractor who provided a legitimate estimate through CrackerJack when I posted a request for 14 bushes to be serviced in Feb 2018. The rest simply entered $1, which was useless. That's why I chose to contact Nicholas. The following day, he arrived and we went over my yard, discussing my plans and goals for each set of the bushes. He didn't try to upsell me into doing more work than I had initially requested. As it turned out, I had 21 bushes, not 14. :P In addition to pruning the bushes, he also agreed to clear a large pile of branches, cut and pull a bush, and dig up a fence post. We scheduled the appointment following the walk-through, but rescheduled it due to weather. However, communication was clear every step of the way. When it was time to work, Nicholas spent several hours on the job site by himself. He checked in with me a few times to ensure that I was happy with the work he had accomplished so far. I found the cost to be quite reasonable, given the effort and labour he had put in. When the time comes to hem those crazy bushes again, I will undoubtedly hire him. :)
