In my experience, no massage therapist compares to Courtney. For 15 years, I have relied on him for my therapeutic needs, even after relocating to both NY and SF. His aptitude and finesse surpass that of any other - Courtney has a keen instinct for what your body requires with only a handful of inquiries and evaluations, tailoring the massage to your unique needs. After every appointment, I always feel transformed, for the better.

Courtney is an incredible individual who saved me from undergoing surgery. His knowledge of muscle anatomy and kinesiology is truly remarkable, and he applies what he teaches, which is commendable, even for someone with a PhD in Physiology like me. However, after relocating from Atlanta, I have been unable to find someone as exceptional as Courtney, and I'm unsure if I ever will. He has undoubtedly set the bar high.

For at least seven years, I have worked closely with Courtney. As an avid long-distance runner, I frequently participate in multi-day races. Years ago, I sustained a back injury while training for one of these events. Despite seeking treatment from a spine specialist, undergoing x-rays and MRIs, and participating in physical therapy, I experienced no relief. I even visited a chiropractor, to no avail. The constant pain made life unbearable. Fortunately, someone gifted me a spa certificate, and I chose Courtney as my therapist. After one session, I felt much better and was able to run again in no time. Despite working a desk job for 12-14 hours a day, I never have complaints about my neck and shoulder pains or the headaches associated with TMJ. Courtney has worked miracles, helping me stand straighter and feel better. Whenever I have injuries or nagging aches, be it my knees, back, ankles, hamstrings, shoulders, or neck, I simply contact Courtney. His expertise is unparalleled; for instance, he can detect when knee pain results from tight quads or hamstrings. He cares deeply about his work, provides sound advice, and has always nursed my body back to health. As a massage therapist, Courtney is simply the best. I have received massages around the world, but none compare to his. So good is he, that even my initially skeptical husband is now addicted to his weekly appointments. Courtney is a fantastic human being who excels at his craft.

Based on my experience, I can confidently say that Courtney is the top sports massage therapist in Atlanta. Within a few treatment sessions, he successfully treated my considerable running injuries, including tendonitis. His diagnosis and treatment methods are meticulous and comprehensive. Ultimately, I highly recommend him, particularly to athletes seeking to reduce their recovery time.
