About
Hello,My name is Mike Sterner and I have 15 years of experience in concrete coatings, specializing in epoxy and polyspartic floors, as well as concrete overlays. I take great pride in my work and ensure that every job is done right the first time.
Epoxy and polyspartic floors have distinct differences. Epoxy lacks a moisture barrier in the basecoat and its clear coat isn't anti-slip, making it slippery. Additionally, epoxy clear coat is not UV stable, turning yellow over time, and takes three days to install.
Polyspartic, on the other hand, offers numerous benefits. I can complete a polyspartic floor in just one day. The basecoat already has a moisture barrier for added protection against floor damage, and I apply a high-solid polyspartic clearcoat with an anti-slip feature after broadcasting the flakes and smoothing out the surface.
Polyspartic clearcoat is UV stable and won't yellow like its epoxy counterpart. As an experienced professional, I highly recommend choosing polyspartic for your flooring needs.
