Upon introducing Balto to our family, it became apparent that training big dogs was a necessity. Initially, I resorted to the conventional approach of Googling and downloading training apps, but this approach yielded little success. Seeking alternatives, I explored cheaper options such as group lessons at Petsmart or Petco; however, the reviews were mixed and attending regular classes with my kids and Balto proved impractical. Subsequently, I discovered the CrackerJack app—a platform that connected me with dog trainers. I reached out to a few, explaining my objectives of training Balto to respect our family hierarchy and avoid chasing rats. Unfortunately, the responses I received were condescending, as these trainers viewed my requests as unreasonable. Fortunately, Stick To It was different. She comprehended my expectations and assured me of a feasible plan to achieve my goals. Moreover, her experience with dogs and rats demonstrated her versatility and competence. Throughout the training sessions, she patiently answered my questions, even the seemingly inane ones. Balto responded incredibly well to one-on-one training, quickly learning how to sit, lie down, walk without pulling excessively, enter and exit calmly, and refrain from chasing rats. Over time, he has made extensive progress, no longer attempting to steal dropped food and coming when called. From having reservations about getting a big dog, Stick To It helped us overcome our concerns, instilling confidence in our abilities to train Balto. We wholeheartedly recommend her services.

I highly recommend Kendra! My Great Dane, who is 11 months old, has been increasingly difficult to handle. After discussing his behavior with Kendra, she was able to schedule us for a consultation that same week. One of the main issues we needed to address was his greeting behavior which involved jumping, nipping, and demanding attention. Kendra introduced an impulse control game and within minutes, Stryker was following her commands and demonstrating impressive self-control. During the second half of the session, we worked on his leash behavior which usually involved tantrums, jumping, and biting. Kendra was able to quickly calm him down and establish her authority. Stryker clearly respected her and craved her affection. Our next session went just as well and implementing Kendra's techniques has made a night and day difference in my walks with Stryker.
