Unique Heating and Cooling

Due to their positive reviews, I contacted Unique Heating and Cooling for assistance when our furnace stopped functioning on a frigid day, and requested that they assess it if they had availability. They promised to arrive after their first appointment in the morning at 10am. However, after receiving a text message delaying the appointment to 10:30, followed by another text message delaying the appointment to noon, and eventually a phone call at noon stating that they were running behind schedule and would arrive by 1, I understood that unforeseen circumstances can cause delays. But by 2:00, no service personnel had arrived, and after contacting their office and speaking with the receptionist who requested my information again and assured me she would contact the service personnel, I had not heard back 20 minutes later. To maintain a professional image, it would be preferable to communicate anticipated arrival times more transparently. My children and I have spent the entire day shivering in the cold awaiting our appointment, which has yet to materialize. To make matters worse, I had to cancel various appointments today due to the uncertainty of when the repairmen were going to arrive, which has now caused these tasks to be indefinitely delayed. Although I hoped to endorse this business, the current experience has not been positive, and I regret to state that this has been the most unprofessional interaction I have had with a company.
