Troys dog training

Working with Troy was an incredible experience. He explained what we needed to expect and helped us understand the realistic timeline for our dog's progress. We also learned what we needed to do to maintain our dog's obedience. Thanks to his guidance, we can safely house our big rescue dog with our young children. Our seven-year-old daughter had been requesting a dog for as long as we could remember. We decided to adopt a 1.5-year-old German Shepard mix named Bear, who needed training. Thankfully, we found Troy, who had a leadership-focused training approach. Before bringing Bear home, we took him to Troy for basic training. It was the best decision we ever made. Bear still has tons of energy but the training helped us manage it. He's now respectful, properly trained, and is learning how to be around other dogs. Bear knows how to sit, stay, heel, and also goes to his kennel. Troy was patient with us, teaching us routines to keep Bear focused and well-trained. It's been a month since we brought Bear home, and he's become an integrated member of our family. Thanks to consistency and exposure, Bear is gradually becoming more focused and confident. We're grateful to Troy for all his help.

Troy went above and beyond for me and my service dog, Juno! As a struggling college student with a part-time job, I was worried about how I would train my 9-month-old puppy to become a well-behaved service dog. Troy listened to my goals and concerns, and provided clear guidance on what Juno and I needed to do in order to achieve a balanced, functional service dog-handler relationship. While emotional about Juno's success, Troy was kind and accommodating, and I cannot express enough gratitude for all he has done for us. Zora has worked with trainers before, but Troy is by far our favorite. His approach to training is peaceful, scientific, and humane, making him the perfect fit for Zora, who has always been stubborn since she was a puppy. Along with her cleverness, her stubborn nature requires patience and perseverance, which Troy has in abundance. He also brings a comforting bedside manner, especially for anxious dog parents. While not every dog may change drastically, Zora has shown tremendous improvement with many of her previous bad habits disappearing. However, it is important for us to maintain training at home, and we plan on returning to work on more advanced commands. Finding Troy has been a blessing, and he has eased our minds during Zora's extended training periods. Knowing that our beloved companion is in safe and capable hands brings us great peace.

Our experience with Troy exceeded our expectations. Although we initially had reservations since he had no experience in this area, our puppy Butter was wreaking havoc on our household with children, cats, and a senior dog to attend to. Troy reassured us and addressed our concerns, outlining the process right from the start. We decided on a drop-off date and Butter embarked on her journey. We received frequent updates and prompt responses to our queries, without feeling rushed or judged. Today, Butter is a well-behaved puppy who allows us to go about our usual business. She is potty trained, occupies herself calmly on her designated spot, and listens to our commands. Troy also showed us how to continue the training and we are grateful for his willingness to answer any future questions or concerns. We are thrilled with the results and are already considering Troy's services for future training as Butter grows older.

Known as Kai to those who love him, my curly haired dog had a great experience with Troy - the expert dog trainer featured on Troy's Dog Training YouTube channel. As a Disabled Vet, Troy helped train Kai as a service dog during his 6-week stay. Not only did Troy exceed my expectations, but Kai returned home with a more tranquil demeanor and better response to my commands.
