After taking over management of our 17 unit complex in Salem, OR, Apex helped us switch from a difficult old property manager. However, that was just the beginning. Conducting a rental analysis, they discovered that our units were being rented well below the market value, which was unknown to me (an out-of-state investor from CA). Our previous manager had rented them out for $450-$500 per unit, but Apex increased the rent to $695/month, resulting in significant revenue growth. Furthermore, Apex retroactively collected deposits from tenants and ensured renters' insurance was in place to protect me. Additionally, due to my old manager's negligence, maintenance was backlogged, and huge overhauls were required. Apex combed through the property and provided me with a plan that addressed the issues over time, spreading out the costs.
