Incorporating college preparedness lessons and nurturing self-advocacy skills are essential aspects of my approach to teaching. With over 20 years of experience and a specialization in assisting students with ADD, ADHD, and other exceptionalities, I am a highly effective and empathetic tutor. I find true joy in empowering my students, using positivity and motivation to help them achieve their goals- from second-grade level through college Bachelor's degrees. As someone who has worked in college admissions, I am well-versed in the application process and able to help students and families prepare for their careers- many of which require a college degree. Moreover, as an approved Gardiner's Scholarship tutor, I am proud to offer non-traditional learners effective educational experiences. Ultimately, I believe that education is the key to lifelong success and takes immense pleasure in learning alongside my clients as knowledge truly is power.
