Update: Tom referred another individual to complete the task, which I appreciate and earned him a positive review. Rewritten: Initially, I hired Tom to handle my project. He arrived on schedule for the estimation and agreed upon a starting time. However, a day before the start date, Tom informed me that he couldn't proceed as his wife was sick. I postponed the start date by almost a week, but a day before this new date, Tom reached out again, stating that he was sick too and unable to start the project. Although I suggested rescheduling by another five days, he didn't offer to make up for the delay. I suspect he had another project lined up and didn't allocate enough time to mine. Even though unexpected events can happen, professionals should always honor their promises to their clients. They can make up for it by working on weekends or extending their working hours. If they want to maintain their reputation as a five-star professional, they should prioritize their commitments to their clients. Unless they don't care about their reputation, of course.

Update: Regrettably, we had to redo our entire floor as it did not hold due to issues with the materials underneath the tile and the grout. While Tom is a pleasant person, it is essential to provide this update. He compensated us for the labor cost. Highly recommended! Five-star rating! Tom efficiently removed our old kitchen floor and replaced it with exquisite porcelain tile. His attention to detail is exceptional. He went out of his way to assist me when I was indecisive and even put three small grout samples I picked out because I couldn't make up my mind. His workmanship is of the highest quality, and he is incredibly skilled. Additionally, he installed 14 doors, white trimming, and door casings throughout our entire home, and it looked fantastic. We've already received many compliments! Tom is always punctual. If you need assistance, don't hesitate to contact him! We are delighted to have found him.

The tile work was exceptional and I highly recommend it. Tom's quote was a bit higher than others, but I understood why after witnessing his work. Not only was the tile work impressive, but he also went the extra mile to make it hassle-free. He relocated appliances, cut down the bottom of three doors and the folding pantry doors (to avoid contact with the floor while opening and closing), and even took the initiative to apply silicon to the mid-room sink pipe due to a minor leak he noticed after moving things around! Tom was punctual and didn't charge an additional amount for the materials he purchased at Home Depot (he presented me with the receipt). Don't hesitate to hire Tom; you won't regret it.

Tom's work on a master bathroom was exceptional. He completed the project on time and maintained a high level of cleanliness and professionalism. He was very cooperative throughout the process, so I strongly recommend him.
