At Tickled Ivories, I provide quality piano services at affordable rates, using a combination of advanced technology and artistic attention to detail. I take pride in working with a wide range of piano styles, including antique uprights, spinets, and concert grand pianos. I never rush through tuning or repairs, taking the necessary time to ensure excellent results.
My base rate includes service within 40 miles of downtown Cincinnati OH, tuning to A440 Hz, pedal adjustment, bench tightening, and incidental repairs that don't require action part removal. If your piano is far below pitch, it will require a pitch correction pass for an additional $25 fee. All of my work is guaranteed, and further details can be found on my website. Although my spouse and I are not well-informed about pianos (by chance, we obtained one, and my husband is currently self-taught in playing), Mitch's expertise is astounding! He was highly proficient and punctual. His rates were reasonable compared to other tuners I found on the internet. The appointment scheduler on his website was user-friendly and had vast availability in terms of scheduling. Despite our limited knowledge, we could discern the improvement in the sound of our small upright piano after Mitch finished with it, and it was simply stunning. We shall certainly enlist Mitch's services again next year for our annual tuning!
