The Voice Crafter

Before attending Kent's Voice Crafter workshop at my workplace, the very idea of public speaking made me cringe. I would nervously search for any excuse to escape, even considering pulling the fire alarm. However, the workshop changed everything. Kent taught us to first connect with our body and breath, enabling us to conquer our anxiety and nerves. From there, he encouraged us to engage with our audience by sharing an authentic story. This strategy helped to break the ice, allowing us to showcase our true selves instead of manufactured personas. Remarkably, I've even used this technique in social settings. Thanks to Kent's comedic background, we felt comfortable and honest throughout the process. While it does require practice, I believe it's a worthwhile investment.
