The Swim Whisperer

It was a pleasurable experience collaborating with The Swim Whisperer who proved to be efficient, uncomplicated and achieved great outcomes, and hence, I strongly endorse them.

Kristi is an incredible Swim Whisperer, evident by my 9 year old son's remarkable first lesson. Despite his love for water, he struggled with going underwater and treading water due to his inability to hold his nose. As a concerned parent, this safety issue and lack of confidence only grew each year despite his annual swim lessons since he was 3. However, Kristi was able to gain his trust and teach him the perfect technique to go underwater without plugging his nose in less than 10 minutes. I truly regret not finding her earlier.

The Swim Whisperer is truly exceptional! Last year, we opted for private lessons at our house for my 5-year-old and within the first session itself, Kristi taught him how to swim. He made incredible progress over the summer and mastered different swimming strokes. This year, Kristi will be coaching him to prepare for joining a swim team. Despite attending Foss lessons for a year, my child didn't learn as much as he did with Kristi during their first session. At Foss, he struggled with basic swimming techniques and had trouble swimming without floaties. I highly recommend Kristi for her remarkable work. 🙌🏾

An excellent tutor, Kristi promptly replied to my messages. Although her Barrington site was an hour's drive away, I found it worthwhile. She demonstrated patience, friendliness, and professionalism throughout my individual swimming class, from which I gained ample knowledge. I would undoubtedly suggest her as an instructor.

For six years, I searched for an instructor like Kristi B. to help my daughter, J, overcome her fear of water after facing two traumatic experiences in the pool before age four. Despite hiring a private instructor nine years ago for my son, who has special needs, that teacher failed to build a rapport with J. However, Kristi was different. She took the time to understand J's perspective on water and worked with her to slowly build confidence in the pool. Kristi personalized her teaching approach to meet J's needs, and within two lessons, J was able to float on her back by herself and swim across the pool. Kristi's empowering words and positive reinforcement helped J feel in control of her body and develop potentially life-saving skills. As a parent, my number one goal is for my children to be safe in and around water, and I am grateful to Kristi for helping J achieve that goal. I highly recommend Kristi as a swimming instructor.
