Greetings! My name is Sarah and I specialize in wine, spirits, food, and lifestyle. I have had the pleasure of hosting over 400 events, both virtual and in-person, including wine tastings, whiskey and tequila samplings, mixology sessions, chocolate and cheese pairings, charcuterie board workshops, and much more. My services extend to corporate and social gatherings, as well as special occasions. I offer customized experiences that can be held either in-person, virtually, or a hybrid of the two.
A little bit about my background - I am certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers and a former Beverage Director of Michelin-starred restaurants in New York City. Currently, I am a full-time host of fun, interactive tasting events for private groups, while also writing about drinks and lifestyle for various media outlets. I am the resident wine expert at Martha Stewart Living and a drinks contributor at The Food Network.
I especially enjoy hosting intimate tasting experiences such as bachelorette parties, birthdays, and wine Wednesdays. That being said, I also have experience in organizing larger scale events. I was the Event Operations Manager at City Winery New York for 5 years where I managed small winemaker dinners to 400-person corporate fundraisers and weddings. Partnering with my team of top sommeliers and beverage experts, I offer full-service experiences to my clients, which can include coordinating glassware rentals, food pairings/catering, and other essentials necessary for a successful tasting. Events can be either seminar-style or walk-around/cocktail-style. You share your vision and I'll bring it to life!
