My experience with The Balanced K-9 has been fantastic! Both my dog and I are extremely happy with the results. I had an 8-month-old pitbull/lab mix who was misbehaving and had terrible recall, separation anxiety, and biting issues. He would bark when left alone, destroy anything he could grab, and pee all over the place. I enrolled him in the Balanced K-9 program, which included basic commands and behavior modification. He was with the team for four weeks, and they kept me updated with videos and pictures every few days. They explained the process beforehand and answered all my questions. Since returning home, my dog has adjusted well to his new environment. The Balanced K-9 team was very thorough and helpful, providing us with all the tools we needed to reinforce his new behavior. I can finally relax now that he's behaving better, and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a misbehaving furry friend who needs help!

Discovering Luciana and Chuck has been a tremendous boon for us. We had doubts as to whether Gigi, our 11-year-old rescue, could overcome her problematic behaviours and learn new ones. On leash, she was reactive, and she exhibited cause for distress when left alone, often barking and crying. Additionally, she showed a similar reaction towards children. We expressed our many concerns to Luciana and Chuck, who guaranteed us that Gigi could overcome these issues. Although we expected the process to take at least six weeks, we were pleasantly surprised when, after just three weeks, we were informed that Gigi was ready to come home. Since reuniting with her, we have noticed a considerable improvement in Gigi's behaviour. She roams peacefully without any resistance, has become comfortable in her crate, and seems less troubled overall. Moreover, Luciana and Chuck were always available to respond to questions via email, even after the transition. Overall, we were tremendously impressed by their level of expertise, care, and communication throughout the ordeal. We would highly recommend them, particularly to those who may have doubts about whether old dogs can learn new tricks.

Luciana and Chuck are exceptional trainers and individuals. My German Shepard husky mix, Milo, was with them for four weeks and returned to us transformed. Prior to The Balanced K-9, we struggled to walk him without him tugging the leash, incessantly barking, and attempting to attack people. Milo also barked excessively at any sound whether indoors or outdoors. Thanks to their training, we can now walk him in public places and take him to dog-friendly stores with ease. We are elated that he is no longer confined to our home for fear of harming others. When we went to collect Milo, I was eager to learn about everything he had learned so that we could continue training him at home. Luciana and Chuck were extremely patient in answering our questions and elaborating on the training. They are welcoming and engaging individuals, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking dog training. I was initially hesitant to leave my dog with strangers, but their trustworthiness and the obvious care they have for each animal they train put my mind at ease. Furthermore, they acted quickly when they noticed something alarming on Milo's body and took him to the vet right away. We continue to train Milo every day, and he is becoming a better dog as we improve as handlers. While we have one challenge left to address, we have once again reached out to Luciana and Chuck for guidance. Overall, I give them a five-star rating.

I am absolutely thrilled with the progress Roxie has made. Her success is the result of the diligent and compassionate care she has received since day one. Roxie, a six-year-old purebred German Shepherd with a stubborn streak, used to be aggressive and suffered from separation anxiety. However, after just four weeks of training at the Balanced K9 facility, she now responds to commands and has given me the tools to continue building upon her success. Prior to her stay at "camp," I had to lock Roxie up whenever my grandchildren visited. Now, thanks to Chuck and Luciana's team, our household is happy and harmonious once again.
