Wow! The food at my wedding was absolutely incredible. It was so good that I wish I could get married all over again just to relive the experience. From the appetizers to the main course, myself and my guests were blown away. I was initially apprehensive about not being able to do a tasting, but my intuition paid off as the food was delicious. Karen and her team were amazing in their service delivery. I would recommend them 100%.

With only a week's notice, Karen and her talented team catered our social event for 80 people. They went above and beyond by creating a festive St. Patrick's Day themed menu, delicious custom cocktails, beer and wine, and even surprised us with themed dinnerware and utensils. The food quality was exceptional and was securely packaged with extra refills. They truly thought of everything, from providing extra ice to lighters for the heaters and various amenities such as food signs and towels. We were all impressed and grateful for their attention to detail throughout the entire coordination process, from initial contact to drop-off and pick-up. Thanks to their expertise, our event was a huge success, and we received numerous requests for their contact information. I will definitely choose Astrantia for my future events and appreciate their outstanding service!

Working with Karen and the team at The Astrantia was an absolute pleasure! When I needed a last-minute caterer for a young professional mixer in Sacramento during the busy holiday season, Karen saved the day. After reaching out, we had a phone consultation and she collaborated with Chef Ivan to create a menu that was both within my budget and met my needs. The food was a massive success and looked fantastic, thanks to Karen's attention to detail. She was flexible and accommodating when I requested changes or additions to the menu, keeping me informed at every step of the process. I strongly suggest that you read this review today. Although it may be a bit lengthy, it is because I am extremely passionate about how amazing The Astrantia is. My husband and I have been together since second grade and dated for many years before getting engaged in early 2021. Due to the pandemic, we decided not to get married until mid-2022, hoping that the situation would improve. However, I did not anticipate the number of weddings being postponed to 2022, making it impossible to find a caterer in the Monterey Bay area. With only four months left until our wedding, I expanded my search to San Jose and discovered CrackerJack. That's when The Astrantia, which I had never heard of before, appeared in my search results. I reached out, and Karen responded immediately, providing exceptional customer service and options for our big day. Despite the short notice, Karen and Chef Ivan created a stunning menu, which we tasted at an AirBnB we rented nearby. Karen was always prompt in responding and took care of every detail throughout the process, demonstrating how dedicated she is to her work and what a lovely person she is to collaborate with. However, the venue we chose, an historical house in the California State Park system, presented unexpected challenges. We were initially told that caterers could use the kitchen, but when management changed, we found out that they could hardly use it at all. Karen and Chef Ivan remained understanding and accommodating, cooking everything at my mother-in-law's AirBnB, four miles from the venue. Even with these challenges, the food was a massive hit, and everyone was impressed with the service they provided. Karen, Chef Ivan, and their team are not only talented and professional but also affordable, making The Astrantia a rare and exceptional catering service. I cannot commend them enough, and I am grateful to have found them for our wedding day. Thank you for making our day so much better!
