As a Licensed and Certified Family Dog Mediator, an Accredited Dog Trainer (IAABC), and a Certified Control Unleashed Instructor, my focus is on assisting fearful and traumatized dogs. My objective is to ensure that every dog is content and can learn to adapt to living in a home, resulting in the best life possible for both the dog and the family. I specialize in working with primitive breeds, free-ranging dogs from other countries, and southern U.S. “strays” as well as dogs imported from the dog meat trade in Asia, but I do not accept aggression cases.
I employ positive reinforcement methods and offer pattern games and modern techniques that foster confidence and communication between pet owners and their pets. Rather than focusing on a dog's limitations, I emphasize their strengths and encourage their progress.
With my training facility partner in Buffalo, I teach several classes, including Fearful Dog, Fearful Dog Agility, Control Unleashed, Relationship Building, and Agility for fun. If I am not the ideal instructor/mediator for your pet's needs, we will assist you in finding the best option.
My group classes are six to eight weeks long and take place in Buffalo at our facility. A six-week session begins at $180. Alternatively, in-home lessons are available for two or four weeks, beginning at $225 for a two-week session and $400 for a four-week session, held once a week. The price may vary if there are multiple dogs in the same household. For a one-time lesson, the cost is $125. I highly recommend multiple lessons to aid dogs in establishing patterns and repetition.
