Rowena is truly incredible. We were fortunate enough to have her create our wedding cake and our son's phenomenal TMNT cake, which was both scrumptious and breathtaking. We have the utmost confidence in her ability to craft our daughter's 16th birthday cake as well as our joint birthday cake (as my husband and I share the same birthday). Working alongside my illness, Rowena assisted me in ensuring that I had a beautiful cake on my special day. Unfortunately, I developed a chronic illness during my engagement which resulted in the need to rearrange both the date and location of my wedding. Nevertheless, I am incredibly grateful that my vendors cooperated with me in order to allow me to have a memorable wedding day. Among my chosen vendors was Rowena, from whom I ordered a two-tier vegan wedding cake. Not only was the cake indistinguishable from non-vegan cakes, but it was also adored by my guests. The exceptional Armadillo Cake was created by Texas Baker Girl for my Dad's retirement party. However, due to the cancellation of the event, the cake was repurposed for a different occasion. Our wedding reception featured the cake as the "Groom's" cake, and it was exactly what we wanted, shaped and styled like the one from Steel Magnolias. The red velvet flavor was irresistible, and while the icing was not quite the grey we hoped for, we and our guests were delighted with the cake.
