My passion lies in fitness, nutrition, and working with individuals of all ages, body types, and learning styles. As a former educator with over a decade of experience in public education, I take pleasure in helping people better themselves. It's gratifying to watch my clients grow increasingly passionate about enhancing the lives of others. With my in-person and online coaching services, I make nutrition a key focus of my fitness and health coaching. I show clients how to track their macros while also fostering a healthier relationship with food overall.

My journey in fitness began with cardio-focused workouts, but I soon realized I wasn't achieving my desired results. I incorporated weightlifting and honed in on a proper diet, and I've never looked back. Helping clients pursue their fitness journey through in-person training sessions or online is a joy, and I always seek to understand their personal goals.

For more than two months, I've been exercising with Tara. What I appreciate most about her is her excellent energy- it motivates me without overwhelming me. Given my lower energy levels, working with someone who is excessively enthusiastic would be too much. Fortunately, Tara's gym is very conveniently located on the east side (Oakley, Madisonville, etc.). She genuinely cares about her clients, providing support not only at the gym but also with regards to nutrition. Tara was instrumental in breaking down my mental block towards consuming extra calories after years of restrictive dieting, a move that has resulted in noticeable muscle and strength gains. Safety is a priority for her, and she is particularly mindful of any previous injuries or weak areas. I'm eager to stay the course with her and discover how far I can progress.
