The Art vs The Artist
Photography's primary objective, historically and conceptually, is to document time and place. Despite visual art's consistent reduction of three-dimensional space into two dimensions, photography has uniquely merged science and art to create precise, yet emotionally evocative chronicles of time, marking a landmark moment in written history.
Viewing photography as a language reveals it to be the most influential and purest form of communication. It goes beyond verbal and written expression, objectifying time and space while functioning as both art and reality, delivering both aesthetic appeal and information.
As a commercial photographer, I handle personal and professional photography assignments, such as product, event, real estate, and image photography. From traditional headshots to edgy senior portraits, my aim is to infuse artistry and creativity in every shot while remaining unobtrusive.
In addition to my work as a photographer, I have an extensive background in teaching fine arts photography.
