For two decades, Mr. Klein delved into the study of wild animals, researching their movements and behavior as a skilled zoologist. His experience grants him extensive knowledge of the natural world as the foundation of Tai-chi, which is modeled after animal movements. Mr. Klein shares his expertise by teaching all facets of Tai-chi, including chi-gung, forms, push hands, sparring, and healing.
In 1975, Grandmaster William C. C. Chen certified Mr. Klein to teach Tai-chi-Chuan, and he has since instructed countless students across the nation, as well as through his instructional DVDs across the globe. As an author, Mr. Klein has published "Movements of Magic" and "Movements of Power," introducing thousands of individuals to the ancient healing and fitness system of Tai-chi.
Our school is reminiscent of a Taoist temple in China, where Tai-chi originated, with exquisite surrounding gardens and a goldfish pond. Witnessing transformations in students' lives resulting from Tai-chi training is Mr. Klein's passion. Practitioners become more productive, content, and able to dissolve deep-seated tensions. Tai-chi also permits them to achieve an enhanced mind-body relationship and tranquility.
In addition to teaching Tai-chi, Mr. Klein is a Pilates instructor with his full, classical Pilates studio, training students in one-on-one and semi-private sessions.
