From a young age, both Math and Sports, especially Chess and Swimming, have been significant parts of my life. With a major in Physical Education, specializing in various water sports such as swimming, canoeing, kayak, and dragon boat, and a registered FIDE arbiter, I have always been inclined towards physical activities. However, my passion for Mathematics and Computer Science led me to acquire a degree with a focus on mathematics, statistics, and data science, which eventually led me to win the Mathematics Olympiad at 17.
As an educator, I take great pleasure in teaching and find it gratifying to help my students learn. While my teachings’ content is crucial, I also believe that students learn best when they enjoy the process of learning. Therefore, I make an effort to simplify the contents and encourage the students to share their suggestions, fostering their creativity and confidence. I have a caring and supportive attitude towards my students, and I am always ready to assist those who may be struggling.

Sam is an incredible instructor. We enrolled my granddaughter in four, one-hour swimming sessions with no prior experience, and a fear of the water, particularly submerging her head. However, Sam promptly established a bond of trust with her, resulting in her becoming comfortable in the water in a short amount of time. I strongly recommend her for training any young child, as she is empathetic and patient. We are extremely pleased, and my granddaughter is now self-assured in the water!
