I wouldn't trade my experience working with Susan Ward for anything in the world. Prior to meeting her, my husband and I had been taking our almost six-year-old daughter to a professional music school nearly forty minutes away from our home. Unfortunately, during the six months we spent there, our daughter only progressed through five pages of the "performance, technique & artistry, theory and lesson books" from the credible "Faber" series, causing her to detest her lessons. Our daughter is now mastering the "C" scale and excitedly looks forward to her lessons with Susan. Although I typically sit in and observe our daughter's lessons due to her young age, I have noticed that as she has grown more familiar with Susan's teaching style, she has become more independent and frequently asks me to step back. As a parent, this fills me with pride. Above all else, we appreciate that we can take these lessons from home. We give Susan an enthusiastic million-star review. Her genuine kindness and graceful approach make her an unparalleled piano teacher. Rest assured, anyone who meets Susan won't want another instructor.
