With a BA in Music Education and an MS in Educational Technology, I am a qualified music teacher. I have taught a wide range of students, from casual players to those aspiring to audition for AGT and Broadway. My expertise lies in teaching piano, voice, guitar, theory, and composition. I firmly believe in nurturing the artist within every student, regardless of their age, and always ask for their best effort while providing my own. I teach from my home in Tarzana, where students can purchase packages allowing them to come as little or as often as desired. However, I do request that the first two lessons be consecutive if at all possible. Additionally, I offer four and eight week packages that include playing, composing, and even recording. Lastly, group lessons are also available.

For almost eight years, I have been taking piano lessons with Sue Jarvis in New Jersey. Under her guidance, I have progressed from a complete novice to a skillful musician, able to read and play music with ease. While I do not aspire to become a concert pianist, I have cherished every moment of my piano learning experience. When I first started learning piano as an adult student, I was doubtful about my ability to improve at my age. However, Sue's cheerful and patient approach helped me feel more confident. She customized the lessons and practice sessions according to my requirements, resulting in an enjoyable and educational experience.
Although I was disappointed when Sue relocated to the West Coast, I know that she is highly proficient in virtual teaching. Hence, I intend to resume my classes with her soon.
