As a certified teacher, I spent 11 years teaching in public schools while simultaneously honing my musical skills. With over 20 years of guitar-playing experience and over 25 years of drumming experience, I offer the flexibility for you to choose which songs you'd like to learn.
My teaching philosophy has three simple goals for every student: 1. Play the songs you want to learn 2. Achieve personal goals in skill level progress 3. Enjoy the process of learning music
Pricing for my lessons is as follows:
- Group Jams: $25/hour - 30-minute session: $38 - 45-minute session: $50 - Hourly rate: $62 - Accelerated Guitar: $35 (Disc ounts available with the purchase of additional lessons)
While individual lessons are ideal for beginners, I highly encourage group lessons and jam bands. Research has shown that learning music in a group setting is beneficial. It's an opportunity to enhance your music theory while learning with other talented musicians.
As a live music performer, I love to have my students play alongside me at local restaurants and coffee shops. Moreover, I make sure that the learning experience is fun for everyone. Students can check out my YouTube Channel for additional music tutorials between lessons.

Kevin is an exceptional tutor! Half a year back, I commenced playing the guitar for the first time, and just recently, I performed a song with him during one of his events.
