Upon receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Dr. Sterling Hancock, D.C., graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. Previously, Dr. Sterling played professional soccer and futsal, allowing him to empathize with the physical and emotional tolls of frustrating injuries. Dissatisfied with traditional medical practices, he sought alternative, hands-on manual therapy and chiropractic care, cultivating a passion for understanding the human body.
Dr. Sterling prioritizes patient-centered and evidence-based care, emphasizing movement assessment, personalized corrective care, and manual therapy through a highly attentive approach. He draws on his sports background and anatomical and biomechanical understanding to proactively prevent injury and optimize performance. Further, he pursued advanced training in FAKTR, Fascial Manipulation Institute by Stecco, and MPI.
As a Bay Area native, Dr. Sterling is dedicated to serving his community, including coaching youth soccer in his free time. He also enjoys reading, weight training, photography, and cooking.
