Having resided and worked in Germany, I focus on incorporating prevalent colloquial expressions and customs that are not typically covered in conventional textbook education. Additionally, I utilize German online resources and contemporary literature targeted towards youth to provide my students with a more authentic and extensive exposure to the language. Furthermore, I work with high school students who are currently enrolled in a German course to enhance their academic performance. Along with addressing any language inquiries, we collaborate on assignments and study for assessments together.

My high school daughter was struggling to keep up with her German III class, but Steve has come to her aid. After getting stuck on a few assignments, she had fallen behind, but Steve's assistance has put her back on track. Over the course of 3 days and 4 1-hour appointments, he has been helping her complete assignments in between lessons as well as during their sessions. He has also taught her some tips and tricks to make the more challenging or tedious concepts more manageable. With an obvious passion for teaching, Steve has been able to motivate my daughter without applying undue pressure, and I'm thrilled that we chose to hire him for these lessons.

Stephen is an excellent tutor who quickly evaluated my level of proficiency and approached me on that basis. During the second session of our tutorial, we even went ahead to read a fairy tale, and I performed quite well. I am thrilled to expand my grasp of the German language as we progress.

After just one week of working alongside Mr. Griggs, my comprehension of German grammar has dramatically improved! As someone who engages in a lot of self-study, I have found him to be an exceptionally valuable resource when it comes to addressing any questions I might have. Not only is the textbook he employs quite engaging, but I have even discovered myself browsing the vocabulary sections for entertainment. Overall, I am extremely impressed with Mr. Griggs' expertise as a teacher, and I eagerly anticipate soaking up even more knowledge from him going forward.
