Though I typically rely on referrals to find skilled individuals, I opted to try an online service to locate Erik due to my remote location and lack of contacts in MA. Fortunately, Erik made communication accessible by providing his phone number, allowing us to easily prepare for the project ahead of time. We had a strict timeline and a limited window of opportunity for my son to move in before classes began. I had previously purchased paint from a nearby hardware store for Erik to use while I was in flight to MA; however, upon discovering that our pre-order from IKEA was not going to arrive in time, Erik accompanied us to the store to ensure the purchase of all necessary items. In addition, he went the extra mile by accompanying us to a local Home Depot in order to gather additional supplies we hadn't accounted for beforehand. By the end of the weekend, our expectations had been exceeded as the entire job was completed to our satisfaction through hard work and determination on their part. The end result was a beautifully painted room with a floor that had been repaired, a large area rug put in place, window shade mounted, shelves affixed to the wall, and a TV mount secured. Moreover, they skillfully assembled a full bed, desk, 6-drawer dresser, free-standing shelf, and unit above the desk. Ultimately, we could not have completed the project without the expertise and assistance of Erik and his partner.
