Stefano Battaglia

My name is Stefano Genova and my passion lies in playing the bass guitar. Through some musician friends in NYC, I was introduced to Stefano Battaglia who is known as a highly skilled and talented double bass player in the jazz scene. Eager to improve my pizzicato and arco technique, I wasted no time in asking him for lessons. After 3 months of working together, Battaglia has proved to be a knowledgeable and inspiring teacher, always pushing me to do my best. Scheduling lessons has never been an issue, despite my frequent out-of-town work commitments, as Battaglia has always been accommodating and prompt to find alternative time slots. I highly recommend him both as a teacher and a performer, as he is undeniably among the best players I have ever heard.

My son is enjoying his fantastic lessons with him. The lessons are well-structured and taught excellently, and he is such a lovely person.
