We were fortunate enough to have Paul from Stay Dry Roofing reach out to us, as the initial contractor we were matched with did not respond to any of our inquiries. Paul promptly provided us with an estimate using GPS software to measure our roof and suggested a visit in person which, given the distance between our locations, I did not expect. Remarkably, he showed up at noon, on time and wearing a mask. During our conversations, we covered a plethora of topics such as shingle specifications, color variety, his company, and crew. This was a refreshing change from past experiences, where we were required to negotiate for minimal down payments. To our immense relief, Paul informed us that he would only accept payment upon completion of the project. Subsequently, all necessary materials, including roofing supplies and dumpsters, were efficiently delivered to our home. Initially, I had doubts about the color of the shingles. However, following a call to Paul, he advised that we group twenty of them together and assess their impact. If I still felt distressed about the color, he would arrange a return of the product and order alternative shades. Ultimately, I was content with the chosen color of shingle. While we were out of town, Paul's crew arrived with plans to complete a layover for the roof. However, on inspecting the shingles, they notified us of complications with the main roofing structure, requiring a full tear-off. We agreed to commence with the garage and three porch roofs that day, delaying the main roof. Unfortunately, bad weather conditions impacted the project for some weeks. Remarkably, Paul would check in with us regularly, ensuring that the project was still on track. Once the weather cleared, Paul arrived a day before the project's resumption, booking a hotel to aid an early start in the morning. On the day of the project, Paul and his crew remained punctual and indeed professional. The team worked long hours, diligently removing old roofs, debris, and shingles from the ground. Even after dark, the team continued to work, leaving our yard clean and free of debris. Overall, I would confidently attest to Paul's exceptional character and service as he is the best contractor I have ever hired. He is punctual, personable, honest, and professional. His crew deserves similar accolades, exhibiting unparalleled expertise, and no one was seen fiddling with a cell phone throughout the day. Pricing matters and in this respect, we were charged fairly, for a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Paul and his crew for all future roofing needs, and they are indeed deserving of a standing ovation for the great work.
