Hi there! I am a newcomer to CrackerJack and I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Ryan Smith and I have a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. I have worked in various roles including serving, bartending, sommelier, and chef for over two decades. I specialize in Mediterranean wines and food, but I have expertise in other areas.

I left my previous position as a GM of banquets at a five-star facility to buy into an Italian restaurant in Denver. My partner and I turned it into an iconic restaurant, which we eventually sold to a new owner in 2021. Since then, I have been taking on private gigs such as providing catering, serving, or sommelier services to old acquaintances. However, I am now in a new city and keen to establish new connections through CrackerJack.

I am a member of the United States Personal Chef Association and hold a SERVSAFE Food Handler's Certificate. I offer a range of cooking services such as weekly meal preparation, dinner parties, vacation home chef, catering, and cooking classes. My focus is on providing excellent service and creating the perfect ambience for your events.

: Our experience of food and wine pairing in Aspen was truly exceptional thanks to the hospitality and expertise of Ryan, the owner of a family-run business that underscores the importance of attention to detail. Unlike most sommeliers, Ryan doesn't put on an air of pretentiousness; he made everyone in the group feel at ease and simultaneously upscale. Ryan provided us with a tour of his wine recommendations from around the world and even created a 7-course tasting menu for my wife, myself, and three other couples at our shallet. He enlightened us about various vineyards and the winemaking process with ease and without lecturing. Ryan even introduced us to Chef Luis from his kitchen staff when the food arrived. In conclusion, we would highly recommend this experience; it's worth double the charge. If you want to elevate any event, invite Ryan to be part of it.

Our experience at Arista was amazing! Mike, our guide, was extremely friendly and well-informed about the wines. He effortlessly supplied us with wine as we strolled through the stunning Japanese gardens. Later, we enjoyed a delightful picnic on the property, savoring a delicious bottle from the vineyard while relaxing. Overall, it was a fantastic adventure!

To celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, I wanted to surprise them with something extraordinary. A friend recommended Ryan, who transformed her bridal shower and yearly philanthropy event into an unforgettable, in-home dining experience. For my parents, Ryan brought a private chef and curated a seven-course tasting menu, expertly paired with wines from Tuscany. He was professional yet personable, ensuring my parents felt at ease despite being unaccustomed to such experiences.
