Hi there! I'm Cynthia L. Speckart and I'm excited to offer you singing and piano lessons either in-person or via Zoom. Piano Instruction: Whether you're a five-year-old child or an adult in their 70s, I'm a certified public music teacher in Missouri and have been teaching music for over 50 years. I hold a Master's degree in music education and have taught music teachers at Fontbonne University. My lessons include covering technique, artistry, piano music theory, and performance literature, all while providing a fun and enjoyable experience. It's important to remember that learning takes time and practice, especially for younger children who may require adult supervision. My goal is to give all my students a foundation in music that they'll appreciate for the rest of their lives!
Voice and Singing Instruction: For those interested in singing and voice lessons, I tailor my lessons to your unique goals and aspirations, ranging from singing for personal enjoyment to auditioning for musicals. As a postgraduate in vocal pedagogy, I cover posture, breathing, and vocal hygiene, as well as vocal registers and articulation techniques. I also provide practice materials and accompaniment tracks for my students. No matter what level you're at, I'm here to help you sound your best while enjoying the process!
You can expect to pay $65 for an hour lesson, $55 for a 45 minute lesson, and $45 for a 30 minute lesson. I'm flexible with payment options and accept cash, check, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, and Apple Wallet. If you decide not to continue after a few lessons, there's no obligation to continue. My experience with her was incredibly enlightening.
