One of the most common issues I hear from new students is a lack of confidence in their spoken English. Not knowing how to articulate sounds properly can really knock your self-assurance.

My specialty is teaching English pronunciation, so you can speak with certainty and be easily understood. This skill is crucial for ESL learners and anyone looking to communicate effectively. I've been teaching English speech since 1991, working with pupils from over 60 countries and speaking more than 25 languages. My approach encourages and nurtures while striving to improve students' articulation. The top acting schools in the USA teach Standard American Speech, and I take those principles, simplify them, and offer students the essentials for clear, correct communication. You can expect real goals and motivation to reach new heights.

I've developed a workbook containing all of the basics you need to know to improve your spoken English. I customize lessons to each student's needs and guarantee mastery of all the essential sounds.

My technique works to strengthen vocal chords and related muscles. Speaking, like any form of physical activity, engages different muscles in different languages, so I offer exercises to train your facial muscles to make all of the English sounds easily. The result is greater confidence in spoken English for anyone from any background, and a necessity for actors or public speakers.
