Simcha's Basement is a recording studio situated in Park Ridge, within Bergen County, New Jersey, conveniently close to Manhattan yet separated from the bustling crowds. Each recording session comes with the assistance of a certified engineer to ensure professionalism throughout.

Owned by Callie Corro, a graduate of Drew University with a Bachelors Degree in music composition, she later pursued her passion in the music industry, receiving certification in audio engineering from the Institute of Audio Research. Callie has also extensively trained with John Kilgore Sound & Recording and now works as a full-time audio engineer at Simcha’s Basement.

At a reasonable rate of $30 per hour, all clients and productions are given the attention they deserve. Services provided include recording, editing, mixing, and mastering using high-quality equipment suitable for capturing voiceovers, narrations, auditions, vocals, raps, or band recordings. Upon my first visit to Simcha's Basement, I was uncertain of what to anticipate. To schedule my session a couple of days ahead, I had a conversation with the owner/engineer via phone, and her pleasant demeanor was apparent. Upon arrival, I was met with the same level of courtesy as previously received. The studio houses top-notch equipment and the engineer is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. As a band, we will undoubtedly use this studio for future recording projects. I strongly suggest Simcha's Basement to any individual or group in need of superior audio engineering at an affordable cost.

In my opinion, Callie is truly exceptional. As an aspiring artist, I believe it's valuable to explore various studios, and I have determined that Callie's is the finest. When individuals possess a passion for something, it shows in their work; Callie is a prime example of this.
