With a lifelong passion for working alongside animals, I have specialized in canine behavior for the past 19 years - attending animal behavior college and gaining a deep understanding of domesticated dogs. My aim is to equip you with everything you need to establish leadership and forge an unbreakable bond with your furry companion in no time.

I act as a bridge between you and your new family member, overcoming the language barrier and helping you to communicate with your dog in a way that resonates with them. My approach is rooted in the idea of creating balance, while applying evolutionary biology to the training and communication process.

I believe in the power of positive reinforcement, while still utilizing consequences when necessary. My aim is not to dominate or oversaturate with treats, but to provide just the right amount of structure that allows your dog to feel secure and respected - resulting in long-lasting "behavioral permanence." My ultimate goal is to prevent owner surrenders and save precious canine lives by enhancing their behavior and bringing families closer with confidence.

Nathaniel is an exceptional trainer and a true dog whisperer. As a first-time dog owner, I was amazed at how he taught me to train my rescue Shar Pei & Akita to sit, stay, focus, recall, come when called, and address behavioral issues in just two sessions. Nathaniel doesn't just train the dog, but also teaches the owners about dog psychology, avoiding common pitfalls and helping cherish our fur babies. Following his gentle guidance and diligently practicing, my dog has become obedient and even goes with us everywhere, including an upcoming international trip. Nathaniel has truly been a lifesaver for me and my shelter pittie mix who struggles with anxiety, fear, and lack of socialization, causing reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. After trying several dog trainers, I can confidently say that none have been as effective as Nathaniel. With his extensive knowledge and experience, he has been able to guide us through counter conditioning, habituation, and desensitization training. What sets Nathaniel apart is his ability to explain everything going on in my dog's mind, providing insight on what, why, and how we need to address issues. Although Teddy still has progress to make, he has come a long way with Nathaniel's structured classes and expertise in wolf behavior (which surprisingly applies to our dogs!). Teddy adores Nathaniel and feels safe and comfortable around him. I cannot thank Nathaniel enough for all he has done for Teddy and me.

I strongly recommend Nathaniel as a dog trainer for anyone who wants to train their puppy. It has been an amazing experience to collaborate with Silver Dog Training! My Pomeranian used to behave like a crazy dog at home, but now thanks to Mr. Silver's teachings, his behavior has improved significantly. He hardly barks anymore, doesn't pull on the leash, and has stopped marking around the house. All of his other undesirable behaviors have vanished too! I am really pleased that I discovered and utilized Silver Dog Training's services. I wholeheartedly recommend them!
