I suspected bed bugs when my six-year-old kept getting bitten, but I could never find any bugs. After some research, I confirmed my suspicions and immediately went into action. I tore the house apart, did hours of laundry, deep cleaned everything, and even purchased expensive bed bug spray, but to no avail. They came back in just three months. Upon returning the next day, we noticed a pleasant minty/pine smell in the house from the thorough spraying. We took extra precautions, even throwing our hotel clothes and bags into the dryer on high heat to ensure nothing was brought back with us.
