The remarkable Chef Sheldon was an absolute delight! From our first chat, we knew he'd curate an anniversary dinner that was both extraordinary and safe, given the Covid situation. When we asked him what he required from us, he simply responded, "a clean kitchen," which revealed his character in a few words. As promised, he showed up promptly with his equipment and made us feel at ease in our new, unfurnished home. He established a lovely atmosphere with perfect music and offered us wine. On our special day, he was very attentive. Our feast consisted of a crab cake and grits starter, ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini, and lobster mac and cheese for our main course, and finished with a decadent bread pudding dessert. Every dish was outstanding, and we will certainly invite him back as we enjoy supporting black-owned enterprises. Engaging Chef Sheldon will be a memorable and, most notably, delicious experience!
