THE TEACHER:

Sherry, an active concert performer, holds a Master's Degree in piano performance from Manhattan School of Music. She has won several international competitions and played at renowned venues across America, including Carnegie Hall and Chicago Cultural Center. With over ten years of teaching experience and an extensive list of successful students, Sherry continues to educate and inspire future musicians.

YOUR LESSONS:

All lessons take place at the Studio located in North Brunswick, NJ. Students work towards two annual recitals while excelling in outside performances. Sherry takes tremendous pride in contributing to the musical journeys and growth of each student, providing individualized education for maximum potential. Her deep appreciation for classical music naturally spreads to both current and aspiring musicians.

We have commenced classes for our 5-year-old and are highly impressed with Sherry's level of expertise, endurance (which is a must-have while coping with young children!), and most importantly, the lofty standards that she sets for her pupils and their guardians. Sherry possesses the ability to foster an atmosphere that encourages competitive players as well as casual ones. Although my child is still too young to decide his trajectory, it is reassuring to know that there is abundant scope for growth under Sherry's guidance. We are excited to witness our son's progress in the forthcoming months!

Sherry is an exceptional piano teacher who has gone above and beyond for my family. Not only has she taught my kids for two years, but she also gave me my first adult piano lesson in years. To my surprise, I learned more in one hour than I did from my childhood teacher in nearly ten years! Sherry is warm, flexible, and reliable. For almost two years, Sherry has been an exceptional piano instructor who has greatly impacted my son's progress. From having no knowledge of reading music or playing scales, he is now playing Bach inventions and etudes, and is even aspiring to become a professional musician. In fact, he chose to attend a piano camp to play for four hours a day to further hone his skills, inspired by Sherry's teaching. Sherry is incredibly structured and clear in her approach to teaching. She provides students and parents with specific goals and focuses, ultimately leading to consistent growth and development. She also encourages and rewards her students for their hard work and celebrates their successes. Furthermore, she created small studio classes that allow her students to connect with and support one another. In addition to teaching techniques and repertoire, Sherry also simplifies music theory through entertaining games, making it accessible and enjoyable for her students. As my son's love for classical music grew, Sherry's support and encouragement grew with him. She attended all of his competitions and helped him prepare for rehearsals and auditions, ensuring that he always felt supported by her and confident in his performances. Overall, Sherry's exceptional skills as a pianist, coupled with her humility and passion for music, provide my son with an admirable role model who he looks up to and is excited to see each week. We feel incredibly grateful to have Sherry as our son's piano teacher.
