Hi, I’m Coach Sheff, or Courtney Sheffield, and I have a deep love for basketball. Although I never played at a collegiate level and had limited experience on my high school team, I continued to improve my skills as time went on. My training tactics are unique and not common. To start, I like to play one-on-one games with my students on their first day to assess their strengths and weaknesses. From there, I create a customized training plan that focuses on enhancing their strengths while gradually improving upon their weaknesses. Each student is unique, and therefore their training will be tailored to fit their individual needs. My goal is not only to teach my students skills but also to instill confidence in them, which is what makes my training method so effective. Moreover, I’ve invented a device that assists my students in dribbling, rebounding, shooting, and catching the basketball. Some students may show improvement right away, but it requires consistent practice to see significant results.
