Despite the freezing temperature outside, we opted for a photo shoot featuring a dozen different combinations of family members, ranging from kids to stepkids and aunts. Chris, our photographer, exhibited tremendous patience throughout the shoot, which felt like a wedding photo shoot due to the numerous combinations. The result was a collection of great pictures, but I do wish we had been given more guidance on different poses and angles. Perhaps the chaos of attempting to photograph so many people left me unable to consider this at the time. Nonetheless, my primary concern was getting a single good photo of everyone, which we happily accomplished. Reviewing the order, I did notice that many of the poses were similar, which is partially our fault for not considering this at the time due to our large, frenzied family. We hope to work with him again during the spring, with the intention of pairing his incredible work with a contrasting winter/spring background.
