I am committed to teaching sewing to anyone who is eager and interested. My goal is to equip others with this valuable skill, allowing them to incorporate creativity into their daily lives.
For private lessons, I offer a rate of $40 per class or a bundle of three 60-minute sessions for $105. To secure the first lesson, a $20 deposit is required, and all classes must be used within six months. Please note that I do not provide remote learning or design services for clothing.
Having been an enthusiastic seamstress since junior high, I possess a wealth of knowledge and experience in classic techniques, which I learned from my grandmother, a professional seamstress and tailor. My lessons specialize in teaching individuals how to repair and replace zippers and hems, selecting fabrics, reading patterns, and completing hand-embroidery projects. I emphasize the value of re-purposing and repairing clothing, rather than throwing it away, in today's throw-away society.
Aside from my teaching services, I also create a variety of craft items, including heirloom dolls and Blessing gowns. My passion is to share my skills, learned over 50 years of sewing experience, to ensure complete satisfaction. My aim is to ensure that individuals reach their sewing goals, whether it be making their own clothing, renovating or repairing garments, or crafting unique and personalized items. I only take on clients locally, except for Dolls & Blessing gowns.
