I am a Columbia-based freelance photographer who specializes in photojournalism and commercial photography. I have worked with notable publications and agencies such as The New York Times, The Associated Press, Getty Images, and The Washington Post. On the commercial side, my clients have included The South Carolina Agriculture Commission, The Red Cross, Texas Instruments, the ACLU, and others.
My passion lies in creating natural light environmental portraits and exploring new locations for unique photo opportunities. As a photographer, I revel in the challenge of crafting compelling still images that balance space, light, composition, and timing in order to capture a precious moment that will endure throughout history.
As a photojournalist, I am also privileged to gain insight into the lives and cultures of people in the communities I visit.
