We operate from two locations, New Bern, NC, and Brooklyn, NY. School of Music in Z Major provides music lessons of premium quality to children and adults starting from the age of 3.

With School of Music in Z Major, our students gain knowledge beyond notes on a page. They learn music history, musicianship, and get the opportunity to experience other instruments apart from their primary ones. Our students are evaluated periodically, and recitals are held twice annually to ensure they are continuously progressing and learning.

Our music teachers possess top-notch musicianship, with master's and doctorate degrees in music from universities. To stay updated always, instructors partake in regular professional development training. We offer individualized lessons for each student.

At School of Music in Z Major, we provide an avenue for each student to find their passion, understand themselves as individuals and musicians, and create an environment of community within our music studio. We do not only provide students with tools required for succeeding musically but also equip them to succeed in life. Our students learn to become the best musicians they can be and the best version of themselves. Every student that graces our music school is treated with patience and understanding as each individual's ability varies.

Currently, School of Music in Z Major provides private lessons both in-person and remotely via Zoom. We accept students of all levels from beginners to advanced learners, and of all ages starting from 3.
