Our experience with Paula during the celebration of a 50th birthday in VA Beach last month was beyond incredible. Despite our initial intentions to keep the event adult-only, Paula went out of her way to cater to the kids, ultimately leading to a separate kids-friendly set-up. The planning stages were seamless, with Paula presenting us with multiple options and ideas, all within our budget. Her consistent communication, sending us past event pictures, kept us involved in the process leading up to the day of the event. When the day arrived, Paula was prepared and proactive, requiring no help from us. Even when some family members attempted to create a balloon display, she kindly took over to ensure everything was executed flawlessly. We would be remiss not to recognize her husband Glen, who also offered his help throughout the setup, and provided us with endless laughter. Paula and her team at Savvy Events are truly exceptional. We contacted her in desperation for a decorator for our wedding with only 115 guests, and she immediately took charge. With an array of decorations readily available, Paula had everything we needed to bring our vision to life, saving us valuable time. She sent us an endless stream of photos aligned with our concept and even put together a mock table the day after our first contact. Throughout the process, Paula worked meticulously and maintained constant communication with us. She also demonstrated remarkable integrity. Three weeks before the event, we were without a florist, and with limited options, Paula found beautiful flowers at a very reasonable price. Her expertise in both design and general wedding planning helped us move forward quickly. Once she understood our plan, it was like she took care of everything for us. This is an enormous relief for any couple planning a wedding. Despite the last minute cancellations of some guests due to the pandemic, Paula continued to work with us up until the last possible moment. The day before the event, our coordinator had to cancel due to being ill, but Paula, being the angel she is, agreed to perform the role of coordinator as well. The wedding was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and Paula and her team were with us every step of the way. Without Savvy Events, our wedding day would have been a disaster. Instead, we have beautiful memories that Paula and her team helped create.
