As a RYT-500, I've studied a variety of yogasana styles, with Yoga Integral being my favorite due to its focus on flexibility and freedom. I also hold a 500-hr certification in the Krishnamacharya tradition, which prioritizes tailored practice to meet each individual's needs and promotes therapeutic yoga for healing. This training has helped me develop sensitivity toward people with injuries or limitations. Since discovering meditation in 1975, specifically through Transcendental Meditation, yoga has deepened my meditation practice and led me to create a 4-part meditation offering for residents in an addiction recovery center. Additionally, I've completed a 300 hour yoga teacher training in the Sri Vidiya Himalayan Institute tradition, which revealed a wide range of effective meditation techniques. Above all, I consider myself primarily a student and practitioner, constantly seeking growth in my own practice in order to be a better teacher and guide for others.
